Honors College and Sawtooth Hall Opens for 2017-18
Boise State University welcomed 630 students to the brand new Honors College and Sawtooth Hall buildings over the past two weeks. The 236,000-square-foot space houses the Honors College, its 295 residents, faculty, classrooms, community space and offices. In addition, Sawtooth Hall is home to 335 first-year students and offers unique gathering spaces, including living rooms, kitchens and study areas.
The spaces have been creatively designed and spotlight Boise State’s blue and orange colors throughout – blue highlighting the Honors College side and orange representing the Sawtooth Hall side.
The dining portion of the building is anticipated to be complete October 2017 and will feature the new SouthFork Market dining area and a convenience store.
Each unit of Campus Operations has had a hand in developing, conceptualizing and completing this building.
