Campus Master Plan Update – January 2016

Campus Master Plan Update – January 2016

Boise State University invites its campus community and campus neighbors to attend a Campus Master Plan Update Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Student Union Building’s Jordan Ballroom. The meeting is being held to update campus neighbors on the request for adoption of the Boise State Master Plan update into the City of Boise Comprehensive Plan.

The university believes the best approach going forward is to address near-term items with an emphasis on Phase One of the Master Plan (next ten years), while also continuing ongoing engagement with neighbors regarding longer-range concepts.

At this time, the university will only seek the zoning approvals necessary to allow the Honors College project to move forward. These include the adjacent and contiguous parcels in the original campus boundary, the expansion zone and those parcels needed for the Honors College project.

After review of the Master Plan – Phase One – and the revised rezoning request, the meeting will also allow some time for engagement on any questions or concerns.
