Employee Design Initiative
Each year Boise State University’s Campus Operations division champions the Employee Design Initiative, a friendly competition designed to positively enhance campus by funding outstanding ideas submitted by division employees.
The Campus Operations’ Employee Design Initiative began in 2014 and has added outstanding improvements over the past years. Submissions for the fourth-annual campaign are now open and due by Friday, February 3, 2017.
This initiative is intended to encourage Campus Operations staff to contribute concepts that would enhance the Boise State campus based upon our three division goals: 1. Empathy for students, 2. Attention to detail, and 3. Imputed quality
Design initiative ideas, designs or examples can be submitted individually, or by a group. Ideas submitted from previous Employee Design Initiatives may be resubmitted. As in years past, each submission must include the following:
- Ideas, designs or examples of a one-time, physical improvement to the campus (with location if necessary)
- Projected budget (to remain under $10,000)
- Estimated completion date (as late as August 2017)
